Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 15 February 2026
Our Commitment
AI Governance Hub is committed to ensuring our platform is accessible to everyone, including users with disabilities. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standard.
Accessibility is not a one-time effort but an ongoing commitment. We continuously work to improve the user experience for all our users.
Accessibility Features
Keyboard Navigation
All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard. Tab through forms, buttons, and menus without a mouse.
Screen Reader Support
Semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and live regions ensure compatibility with JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.
Colour Contrast
Minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio for normal text and 3:1 for large text, meeting WCAG 2.2 AA requirements.
Reduced Motion
Respects prefers-reduced-motion settings to avoid triggering motion sensitivity issues.
WCAG 2.2 Level AA Compliance
We meet the following success criteria:
- 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum): All text meets 4.5:1 contrast ratio
- 2.1.1 Keyboard: All functionality available via keyboard
- 2.4.3 Focus Order: Logical and consistent focus sequence
- 2.4.7 Focus Visible: Clear visual focus indicators on all interactive elements
- 2.4.11 Focus Not Obscured (WCAG 2.2): Focus indicators never fully hidden
- 2.5.7 Dragging Movements (WCAG 2.2): Non-dragging alternatives provided
- 2.5.8 Target Size (WCAG 2.2): Minimum 24×24 CSS pixels for interactive targets
- 3.2.3 Consistent Navigation: Navigation order consistent across pages
- 4.1.3 Status Messages: ARIA live regions for dynamic content updates
Assistive Technologies
AI Governance Hub has been tested with:
- Screen Readers: JAWS 2024, NVDA 2024, VoiceOver (macOS/iOS)
- Browsers: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari (latest 2 versions)
- Voice Control: Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Voice Control (macOS)
- Magnification: ZoomText, Windows Magnifier, browser zoom up to 200%
Known Limitations
We are actively working to improve the following areas:
- PDF exports may not be fully accessible to screen readers (planned improvement: Phase 4)
- Complex data visualizations (charts) have basic alt text but limited interactive accessibility
- Some third-party integrations (e.g., Stripe checkout) are controlled by external providers
Testing and Compliance
We use automated and manual testing to maintain accessibility:
- Automated: axe-core DevTools, Playwright accessibility tests (integrated into CI/CD)
- Manual: Keyboard navigation testing, screen reader testing, contrast verification
- Frequency: Every feature release includes accessibility audit
